Industrial PC Configurator
If the spec sheet is unreadable, let people choose instead
An online configurator for industrial touch panel PCs. Buyers pick their configuration step by step and leave their details for a quote. Sales no longer spends a week of email establishing what the customer actually wants.

The challenge
Industrial PCs have enough options to make anyone give up: size, processor, memory, storage, operating system, ports, mounting, ingress rating. The traditional answer is a spec sheet followed by several rounds of email with a salesperson. Most prospects disappear during round two - not because they lost interest, but because it became work.
What we built
A configurator that behaves like a consumer store
One decision per step, with the full configuration visible the moment it is complete.
No prices anywhere on the page
A deliberate commercial decision - the flow ends in a quote request rather than a checkout. Pricing for industrial equipment depends on volume, project and relationship, and publishing a number removes the room to negotiate.
One product line equals one data file
The configurator is a data-driven component, so adding a product line means adding a file. The interface and quote flow are reused rather than rebuilt.
Hard separation of internal cost data
The source spreadsheet carries cost, margin, supplier and internal codes. Only model, specification and product imagery reach the front end; nothing cost-related is allowed into the client bundle at all.
A swappable lead destination
Today it notifies the sales team. Later it can feed the client's own system to generate quotes automatically, with no change to the front end.
