CSM Smart Lock Website + Admin

A website and admin for a smart lock store - customers send a photo of their door on LINE, and the shop maintains products and copy on its own

CSM Smart Lock is a smart lock store in Zhubei, Hsinchu, installing on site across Taiwan. We rebuilt its website and built an admin panel the shop runs itself. The catalogue, installation stories, homepage images and store details are all edited in the admin. To add new models, the shop ticks the products and presses one button; the AI reads the photos, drafts the specifications and description, and saves everything as a draft for a person to approve.

The challenge

The old site sat on a directory platform. Changing a single word meant asking the vendor and often waiting days; the layout was dated, it was awkward on a phone, and fewer people were getting in touch. Yet the way this business wins a sale is clear: the customer sends a photo of their door on LINE, a technician checks whether the lock will fit, and then quotes. So the job was not just a new website. It was a site that brings customers smoothly into LINE, and that the shop can maintain on its own.

What we built

  1. Catalogue and content admin

Brands, models, specifications, photos, descriptions, installation stories, promotions and homepage images are all edited in the admin. New products start as drafts and are checked for missing photos or copy before publishing; while editing, a live preview shows the page as it will appear on desktop and mobile.

  2. Tick the products, list them with AI

Tick a few products and press one button. The AI reads the photos already uploaded (and can look up the manufacturer's specifications first), then writes the specification table, features, selling points, SEO copy and page layout in one pass, all saved as drafts for review. Fields it cannot verify are left blank and marked, never filled from a similar model.

  3. The site's job is to bring customers into LINE

A sale starts with a photo of the door, so every page offers a way to send one on LINE, and the enquiry form needs only one of phone, email or LINE ID. The AI product assistant in the corner answers questions about products in the catalogue only; it never quotes online and instead asks the customer to send a photo for a technician to assess.

  4. Image workstation and market insight

Product photos can have their background removed, spare margins trimmed and sizes matched inside the admin, and the photos already on the site can be checked for consistency. Market insight reads online reviews and discussions and turns them into a report - how competitors are described, what customers care about most, and what the site is still missing.

  5. Reply to Google reviews from the admin

The admin connects to the Google Business Profile. Reviews without a reply are listed first, and every reply is confirmed before it is posted. The About page shows the latest Google reviews, noting that they are neither selected nor edited.

  6. A closed server, with backups you can verify

The site reaches the internet through an encrypted tunnel, and the server itself opens no ports. Backups run on a schedule, and the health check reports whether they are actually running; every update is preceded by a backup, and the previous version is kept so it can be rolled back.
