The challenge

The moment a meeting ends, it starts falling apart. The recording sits in a folder, the notes are in somebody's notebook, and the actual conclusion is three hundred messages up the chat. The real loss is not the missing transcript — it is that the reasoning behind a decision becomes unrecoverable. Ask in three months why the team chose this over that, and nobody can say. The problem to solve was never transcription. It was memory.

What we built

Naming and product philosophy
Huelo comes from the Mandarin for "meeting record" said quickly, and lands close to Hello. One design rule governs everything - open it and it records, no setup, no configuration.
Speech recognition tuned for how Taiwan works
Mixed Mandarin and English in the same sentence, local idiom, company-specific jargon. Generic recognition drops exactly the words that carry the decision.
Recording that does not stop
Three independent layers of protection. The one unforgivable failure for a recording tool is stopping halfway with nothing on screen to say so.
Quotas people can actually read
Usage is shown in hours, not in points that need a conversion table. People use a tool differently when they can tell what they have left.
Built and operated end to end
Site, database, file storage, job queue and payments were all built in-house and taken live, with load performance and search visibility tuned continuously after launch.
